Conventional Packaging

Conventional pouch materials such as a combination of PET and LDPE, or any other mixed material falls under code 7 - other. This type of packaging can be hard to recycle as seperating the different materials is time consuming and labour intensive. However this type of packaging should not be overlooked. For specialist applications, it offers fantastic perfomance in terms of strength, shelf life and heat resistance. It may even be collected for recycling or recovery, depending on location.
